PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT
Born in Mexico City and founding partner of the
firm. He is a graduate of the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores
de Monterrey (ITESM) and the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial (EBC), where he
obtained his degree in Public Accounting. Professional Schedule No.
115045, Professional Certificate No. 382. He is registered with the
Administration of Federal Tax Audit, since 1969 under No. 1824.
He is
properly registered in the Instituto Federal de Especialistas de
Concursos Mercantiles (federal goverment agency for bankrupt law
procedures), in the specialty of Conciliatory First Category.
He is an
active member of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants A.C. and the
College of Public Accountants of Mexico.
He began his professional practice in 1958 when he joined the National
Banking Commission where he was mainly engaged in the financial sector. Subsequently,
he joined "Compañia General de Aceptaciones" and affiliates,
which currently integrates "Grupo Financiero Serfín. On March 1969,
he left said group to establish his own firm.
He has actively participated in a significant number of negotiations to
sell companies, financing, restructuring or companies' financial rescues,
assets sales etc., achieving excellent results for the clients.
He is an
advisor and commissioner of several types of companies and he has been a
speaker on various occasions and quoting financial matters, at forums
sponsored at a post-graduate level.
